A diverse range of people (ecologists, horticulturists, photographers, graphic designers, information technologists and computing undergraduates) drawn from the Scottish Crop Research Institute and University of Abertay Dundee were, and continue to be, involved in the design, development and content of ASIS.

This website was developed by a team of fourth year computing students from the University of Abertay Dundee for their Industrial Project. They designed and built the Seed Identification System for SCRI over an eight month period.
The team consisted of 5 members:
